 In Memoriam: Aneeta Gupta

Aneeta Gupta

InfoComm mourns the loss of Aneeta Gupta, Founder and CEO of Visionaire. Gupta was a winner of InfoComm's 2015 Women of AV Award, given at a ceremony at that year's InfoComm show in Orlando, Fla. In a statement, Gupta's husband Aseem Gupta, Executive Chairman and Chief Visionary of Visionaire, said, "She was a leader who has dedicated her life to pursue innovation and excellence at work, an epitome of calm and perseverance, of quiet and strong convictions."

Gupta started the company in 1995 with just two employees. It has since grown to become one of the largest systems integrators in the Middle East. In 2012, 80 percent of the people in Visionaire’s internship and trainee engineering program were women engineers. InfoComm’s thoughts are with the Gupta family and everyone at Visionaire.
