 Three Steps to Engagement

You can throw an eye-catching video display in a lobby, store or event venue. But is it really accomplishing what was intended, namely drawing viewers to something more than big, bright images? A video installation should be multifaceted in order to accomplish three distinct goals: attract, engage and connect. And different technologies can address different levels of engagement. Read about it in the All Voices Blog.

 Modern Audio Networking Simplified

Remember when CobraNet was the way to transmit audio over networks? A lot has changed since then. Rich Zwiebel, Vice President of Systems Strategy at QSC Audio and one of the originators of CobraNet, talks about AES67, a new Audio Engineering Society standard, and what the trade group behind AES67, the Media Networking Alliance, has planned for InfoComm 2015 in Orlando. Read the Q&A.

Do You Have an Open Door Policy?

For many of us, climbing the company ladder means eventually getting an office. An office means a door. The risk in closing that door is the echo chamber it creates, potentially stifling open discussion and innovation. Is your management style to close the door or leave it open? One AV executive shares his thoughts on the All Voices Blog.
