What the Fiscal Cliff Hath Wrought

After months of hand-wringing over fiscal-cliff negotiations, it should come as no surprise that organizations were apparently cautious with their AV technology budgets toward the end of last year. InfoComm Debuts Systems Verification Checklist

The new Audiovisual Systems Performance Verification Checklist, which features 162 criteria and features prominently in the Certified AV Solutions Provider (CAVSP) program, was developed by a task group of subject matter experts from around the world. And if so, how does it happen? If any of this sounds familiar (or even if it doesn't), share your comments.

Not Green Enough for You? Not My Fault

We have met the enemy of sustainable buildings and it is us. The fact is, people know they have an energy-consumption problem, but they rarely blame themselves or make any ongoing effort to change their behavior. AV integrators, consultants and other industry partners are in the best position to help, to introduce technology that shows consumers and building operators what's at stake. Read more.
