Hong Kong Telecom Hosts Experience Week
InfoComm International® member Hong Kong Telecom (HKT) showcased its new breed of networked AV solutions when the company hosted Experience
Week, 11-14 November. Demo booths showed how HKT takes a holistic approach to design and integration by considering elements such as
networking and technology, space and environment, and broadcast content when setting out to create the most desirable audiovisual experience.
Current HKT projects include a transparent display solution for a local bank, which now wants HKT to replicate it at 10 other branches,
each with a fresh set of environmental challenges.

Dear Friends,
Here is a problem we are happy to have: Last month, when Kramer Electronics India agreed to host two Installation Skills Days
at its Bangalore offices, demand for this critical AV education was so great, we had to add a third day. The hands-on training
was aimed at field technicians who regularly install AV components, pull and terminate cable, and perform other installation
tasks at job sites. Thanks to our gracious hosts and to all the professionals who came out.
We are seeing this kind of enthusiasm for AV training and information all over the Asia & Oceania Region, from AV
professionals in Hong Kong to technology managers in Australia. Soon we will be kicking off 2015 with an equally ambitious
slate of AV industry events, roundtables, trade shows and more, including InfoComm China, 8-10 April 2015 in Beijing.
Keep in touch and let us know what makes you enthusiastic about pro AV where you live and work. InfoComm and its partners
will work hard to bring you all the resources we can — and even a little extra, if you need it.
As always, we hope to see you soon.
Sincerely,
|
