Pragmatic Multi-Channel Music Server MuSeDebuts at InfoComm 07

Pragmatic Communications Systems, Inc. announces the release of its MuSehigh performance, fully automated, hard disc-based multi-channel music server, housed in 4RU 19" chassis with security lock. It is available pre-configured to serve up to 4 channels and support many audio formats including MP3 and WMA.

The music files can be accessed from the internal hard drive and other drives on the network including NAS. The built-in auto scheduler allows each channel to select and play multiple play lists with more than 5000 songs. Daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly schedules can be easily created and edited by a simple text editor. Music can be uploaded to the system hard drive via USB, DVD disc or Ethernet connection. The system can easily interface with Pragmatics' PADSCAT-5-based audio distribution system, active speakers, etc. for both foreground and background music distribution in hotels, restaurants, theme parks, fitness clubs, museums, shopping malls, department stores and multi-room audio applications in high-end residential markets.
