EVS212 Staging and Events Management

This updated version of EVS212 equips live event professionals with field-tested project management tools.  The ability to manage show departments, your client and the venue is a learned skill.  Examine the diverse parts of staging an event and learn how they work together as a whole.  Gain project management skills that will aid you in dealing with the challenges that accompany all live events.  From the technical side, examine each department in terms of technology and application.  Learn how to analyze an infrastructure, including power, rigging and labor. Discover how putting good pre-show planning into practice can reduce problems onsite.  You'll leave with a broad knowledge of technical execution for live events.

Audience
This course is for AV technicians with a minimum of two years experience. Technology managers for education, healthcare, corporate and worship who produce live events, as well as account executives who wish to gain depth on live events are encouraged to attend.

Time Commitment
This classroom course is three days long, eight hours per day.
