Review and Comment Available
The Design and Coordination Components Performance Standard public review and comment period ended Monday, December 14, 2009. Thank you for your comments. All comments will be addressed and made available per ANSI guidelines.
The public review period is an important phase in the development of new standards. When InfoComm develops a new standard, following ANSI guidelines, it offers this review for a minimum of 45 days.

How Public Review and Comment Works
Once a new standard is developed, public review and comment of the draft begins. Interested members of the public are encouraged to participate. This process is critical to assuring openness and consensus, providing wide availability of the document and the opportunity to receive all comments — agreement or disagreement.
Step One: Read the draft document.
If a standard is available for public review, the title is listed here with a link. Click on the link below to open the draft standard document:

Step Two: Comment on the document.
- Select the link that says "Details."

- Select "Add a Comment."

Step Three: Complete the comment form. Be sure to complete your submission by selecting the Submit Comment button at the bottom of the form!
Thank you for contributing to the public review process. All comments are addressed and made available per ANSI guidelines.
After the Review Period
After the 45-day public review ends, comments are “cleared” by addressing the issues and incorporating them into the next version. If there are no comments, the Draft Standard 1 will be presented to the Board of Directors for an approval ballot. Once approved by the Board of Directors, the standard is submitted to ANSI for acceptance. InfoComm's first standard, Audio Coverage Uniformity in Enclosed Listener Areas, is available for purchase at the ANSI standards store.
These procedures are outlined in detail in the procedures manuals found in the Public Groups documents folder.
