CAVSP Recognition

The CAVSP has been replaced with the InfoComm AV Provider of Excellence Program (APEx). Discover the benefits of this new program. Questions? Please contact Aron Abrams for more information.

The Certified Audiovisual Solutions Provider™ (CAVSP™) Program, InfoComm International®'s optional organizational-level recognition program, is the only one of its kind. It recognizes companies that voluntarily improve quality and professionalism through employee participation in the InfoComm certification program.

Your potential customers are looking for a way to measure those they hire — in the AV world, the CTS® and CAVSP credentials provide credibility and recognition. Consider becoming a CAVSP if you are a company whose primary business is the manufacture, sales, integration, design, consultancy or rental of AV equipment, systems and services.

The Three Levels of CAVSP

Diamond CAVSP, 50 percent of all technical, sales and customer service staff must have and maintain general or advanced CTS certification.

Of the 50 percent, 15 percent must have advanced CTS designation. A minimum of one advanced CTS is required.

As of July 2, 2012, Diamond Certified AV Solutions Providers also are required to show a completed Audiovisual Systems Performance Verification Checklist for one AV installation. The completed Checklist is required for new and renewing Diamond CAVSPs.

Emerald CAVSP, 35 percent of all technical, sales and customer service staff must have and maintain general or advanced CTS certification.

As of July 2, 2012, Emerald Certified AV Solutions Providers also need to indicate their intentions to adopt InfoComm International’s Audiovisual Systems Performance Verification Checklist for their AV installations.

Sapphire CAVSP, 25 percent of all technical, sales and customer service staff must have and maintain general or advanced CTS.
