Weigh in on Live Events Standards
Here’s your chance to comment on a pair of rigging standards coming out of PLASA’s ANSI-accredited Technical Standards Program (TSP). PLASA TSP has released two standards for public review:

  • BSR E1.21 – 201x, which covers the design, manufacture and use of all the portable structures used to support scenery, lighting and sound equipment
  • BSR E1.39 – 201x, which establishes minimum requirements for the selection and use of personal fall-arrest systems.

For each proposed standard, the review period ends Sept. 25. Here’s how you can submit your comments.
