The Pro-AV Business Index is a free monthly gauge of the industry’s economic health. It comprises two key indexes: one for monthly billings and the other for industry employment. Taken together, the report offers a snapshot of perceived business conditions, plus a look at issues unique to each report. This month: emerging technology adoption.
InfoComm Teams With IHS Markit on Market Forecast
InfoComm has partnered with IHS Markit, a global leader in critical information, analytics and solutions, to analyze and forecast the market for pro-AV products and services worldwide. The new reports, due for release in 2017, supersede InfoComm’s previous Market Definition and Strategy Study series of research products.
4K or Not 4K: What Does It All Mean?

The Women of InfoComm Network (WIN) council’s mission is to provide a global community of InfoComm members and other professionals committed to supporting and empowering women who work in the AV and technology industries. Give a Student a Jumpstart in the Industry

Do you know an exceptional university student with his or her sights set on a career in AV? InfoComm’s International Communications Industries Foundation (ICIF) is currently accepting applications for its Michael Vergauwen scholarship. This $5,000 scholarship is open to third- and fourth-year college students pursuing a technical degree with plans for a career in the AV industry. Learn more and apply. The 2016 Global Pro-AV Distribution Channel and Trends Report examines the movement of pro-AV products and services from manufacturer to end-user organizations and identifies factors that influence the various channels. It also includes market forecasts through 2017. "This report will equip AV pros and end users with the intel needed to develop relationship strategies with channel partners at different levels," said James Chu, Director of Market Research, InfoComm.
