CTS Profile:

Ranjit Singh

Ranjit Singh, CTS-D, CTS-I

Ranjit Singh, CTS®-D, CTS®-I, THX (Tech II), Senior Consultant and Trainer, RST Technology Holdings Pte Ltd., was the first Asian to be certified CTS-I and the only Asian on the University Faculty of InfoComm International®. Singh started his career as a service engineer for Philips Singapore. He left Philips in 1994 and started his own business providing installation of audiovisual products. In 1998, he decided he would be more useful in the designing of AV solutions. When Microsoft Singapore in 2003 offered to move him to the company's new office, he knew the best way to do it was as a consultant. From 2004 onward, Singh moved into a consultant role and in 2008 got his certifications so he could train in India and Singapore.

"Knowing something and understanding it are two different things. CTS certification confirms one's knowledge and skills to design the best solution for one's customer," Ranjit says. Read more.
