Certification shows your commitment to being the best, both in the AV field and for your company. The continuing education that accompanies certification will help keep you up-to-date with advancing technologies. Pursuing advanced certification is an excellent decision for your company and your career.

There are two levels of CTS: General and Specialized. The first level, (general) Certified Technology Specialist (CTS), is required before applying and testing for the Certified Technology Specialist-Design (CTS-D) or the Certified Technology Specialist-Installation (CTS-I).

All three of InfoComm’s Certified Technology programs have achieved accreditation (#0770) under ISO/IEC 17024:2003 as administered by ANSI in the United States. They have been accredited by ANSI to the ISO/IEC 17024 personnel standard— the AV industry’s only third-party accredited personnel certification program. These are the only certifications in the AV industry to achieve ANSI accreditation.

To date, there are over 10,000 CTS holders worldwide.
