Applying standards to audiovisual implementation also has advantages based on improving quality of the end product.

One resource application called iAuditor is intended to help you prove that quality. The application is based in auditing software, allowing you to create performance verification checklist templates of your own. For example, you can find a sample template for the 10-2013 Verification Standard in the public library of the app. As you consider how you can most efficiently record performance verification items, a tool like iAuditor (or similar program) could be very useful on the job.

Keep in mind  - iAuditor is open-source software, where anyone can have access to your project documentation templates. In some cases that may not matter to you.

Other companies typically make custom spreadsheets or tables of their own to include the necessary verification items. Whatever works best for you!
