Almo Pro A/V's Fall Tour Kicks Off in SoCal
Almo Professional A/V, in partnership with InfoComm International, has opened registration for the fall leg of its E4 AV training and networking tour, which commences at the Hyatt Regency in Irvine, Calif., on Oct. 18. E4 SoCal will feature an entirely new training curriculum, as well as an energetic array of dynamic speakers, including Midori Connolly of AVGirl Productions. In addition, for the first time in the tour's history, the keynote address and a new Tech Expert Brain Freeze lunchtime panel will be broadcast live on the web.
Tom Kehr, CTS-D, CTS-I, an InfoComm International Senior Instructor, will present sessions on "Assessing Network Readiness for AV Systems" and "Audio Gain Structure" both of which are worth InfoComm CTS Renewal Units (RUs). Check out the full schedule of courses.
E4 SoCal runs from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. PDT. It is an entirely free event, including parking, for Almo Pro A/V's reseller, integrator and consultant partners. To register, go to e4avtour.com. This year, there are six open positions for the InfoComm Certification Committee, which is responsible for overseeing the development and administration of credible Certified Technology Specialist™ certifications and for ensuring the credentials meet high standards of ethical and professional practice for the audiovisual industry.
