 CTS Prep Classes = BICSI's CECs

Are you interested in both a CTS and one of BICSI's designations? InfoComm's CTS Prep will earn you 20, while CTS-D Prep and CTS-I Prep classes will translate into 22 BICSI Continuing Education Credits (CECs). For comparison, BICSI's Registered Communications Distribution Designer® (RCDD®) requires 45 CECs for renewal. Visit BICSI's FAQ to read about this and other credentialing requirements.

 Independent Technical Service Providers (ITSP) Council Expands Membership and Provider Categories

With the recent merger of the Independent Programmers Council, the ITSP not only increased its membership but added another dimension for collaboration, networking and discussion among AV/IT professionals.

The council also gives the independent technical service providers a collective voice with hardware and software vendors. Read more and download the 2014 ITSP Directory.

 Almo Pro A/V and InfoComm Co-Locate E4 AV Tour at ISA International Sign Expo in Orlando on April 23

For the first time, the Almo E4 AV Tour will co-locate with ISA International Sign Expo on April 23 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL. E4 Orlando will be held in conjunction with ISA Sign Expo, taking place in the same location, April 23 through 26.

E4 Orlando will include a digital signage keynote address, a full day of courses focusing on digital signage and information about Almo's new Content Creation Services, and more than 35 audiovisual manufacturers showcasing the newest digital signage products. There will also be a co-hosted reception immediately after E4.

Along with the keynote, E4 Orlando will include many courses worth renewal units (RUs).
