Lessons Learned From a Videowall Install

More News from InfoComm

Integrated Systems Europe Closes Up — Way Up

The 2013 edition of Integrated Systems Europe, co-owned by InfoComm International® and CEDIA®, wrapped up last week in Amsterdam. ISE 2013 enjoyed a record number of attendees, foreshadowing great things for June's InfoComm 2013 Show in Orlando. Highlights included ISE's first Smart Buildings Conference, the MegaPixel Summit by Insight Media and a compelling keynote address from a cyber-illusionist. Yes, you read that right. Get all the highlights [PDF].

The Online Path to CTS Glory

This just in from Amsterdam: The first three AV pros to take the CTS® exam onsite at ISE 2013 passed with flying colors. What do all three have in common? They all took CTS Prep Online, a new course from InfoComm University™ that's free to InfoComm members and available to everyone. In all, 27 professionals from six countries passed their CTS exams at ISE 2013. If you missed your chance, you'll be able to take the exam at InfoComm 2013 in Orlando. Stay tuned for onsite exam registration information.

Share Your Vision of the Future of AV...

...and win! The International Communications Industries Foundation (ICIF) and InfoComm International are seeking presentations from tomorrow's AV leaders on the impact of emerging AV and IT trends. If you or someone you know is between the ages of 18 and 26 and can craft a 15-minute presentation, you could win a trip to InfoComm 2013 to present your ideas — plus $500 to boot. The deadline is March 22. For more information and to upload your presentation, read the application.

How One CTS Holder Wins More Bids

“Since getting my CTS-D, I've noticed how people in the industry pay attention and heed my recommendations. It's very timely too, since a large bid we just won had a requirement for at least one CTS-D employee.”

— Cyril Moraes, CTS-D, Applied Electronics Ltd.

 This Way to CTS-D Confidence

CTS-D Prep Virtual Classroom is a five-week course created for experienced designers preparing for the CTS-D exam. It helps you focus your exam study, practice your math and tackle the areas you need to bone up on before you take the CTS-D exam. Sign up online or call 1.800.659.7469 to save your seat. Class starts Feb. 25.

 The AV Business Leadership Series

This year-long series focuses on "The New Normal" — how strategic relationships and added value can take your firm to the next level. InfoComm's AV Business Leadership Series is a complete career-development package that includes six webinars, attendance at a networking lunch during InfoComm 2013 and attendance at the new AV Executive Conference. Get all these products together and save time and money. Contact your regional account manager to purchase the series.

 Scholarships for College Students

The International Communications Industries Foundation (ICIF) is accepting applications through March 29, 2013, for 2013/2014 scholarships. Get more information and apply.

 CTS Prep Heads to UCLA
