InfoComm Announces Election Results
Your votes have been tallied and InfoComm is pleased to introduce the newest members of the association’s leadership. Matt Emerson, CTS®, CEAVCO Audio Visual Co., will serve as Secretary-Treasurer to the 2013 Board of Directors. Julian Phillips, Whitlock, and Jeff Stoebner, AVI Systems, have been elected to the Board. Lee Dodson, TV One and Magenta Research, has been elected to serve on the Leadership Development Committee (LDC).
In addition to the elected officials, Jeff Faber, Sharp's Audio Visual, and Gary Hall, CTS-D, CTS-I, Cisco Systems, have been appointed to the 2013 InfoComm Board of Directors by the LDC.
InfoComm would like to thank outgoing Board members Jim Ford, PE, Ford Audio-Video Systems; Barry Goldin, CTS, Audio Video Systems; and Cory Schaeffer, Listen Technologies, for their contributions to InfoComm and the pro-AV industry.
Better Video = Better Justice
To increase standards awareness, InfoComm recently sponsored the American Institute of Architects Fall Conference on Justice in Toronto. Volunteers from the Standards and Industry Innovations Department discussed how to improve video systems for remote witnesses.
