Integrated Systems Europe — Bigger Than Ever

 


Defying conventional wisdom about the European economy, ISE 2012 was the largest show yet. Final attendance was nearly 41,000 — up 17 percent from 2011. In addition, the number of exhibitors increased by 15 percent and gross floor space at the Amsterdam RAI jumped by 18 percent. Integrated Systems Europe is owned by InfoComm International and CEDIA. CAVSP is Back

 


Effective immediately, InfoComm’s organization-level recognition program will again be known as the Certified Audiovisual Solutions Provider® (CAVSP®) program. The change puts the emphasis back on InfoComm Certification, which is a key criterion for companies that want to qualify for CAVSP status. Other changes to the CAVSP program will go into effect later this year. To learn more, read the news and visit the new CAVSP page.

 Meet the New Leadership Development Committee
In January, InfoComm announced the members of the 2012 Leadership Development Committee, who will serve under LDC Chairman Jim Ford (pictured) of Ford Audio Video. The LDC reports to the InfoComm Board of Directors and is tasked with finding and mentoring volunteers for InfoComm committees, among other important initiatives. Meet all the members here.
