InfoComm 100 Wrap Up
Last week, InfoComm convened 100 of the top industry thought leaders for a two-day session of discussions addressing the future of the AV industry and how building issues, social media and workplace changes will be changing the way the AV industry does business. The program was set by InfoComm’s Leadership Development Committee.

At InfoComm 2010, there will be a free InfoComm 100 Forum on Friday, June 11, from 9 a.m.-10:30 a.m., in room N262 of the Las Vegas Convention Center, organized by InfoComm Chairman Jay Rogina, CTS. It will feature respected futurist, consultant, speaker, communications expert and author Rex Miller discussing his views, as well as a panel of InfoComm 100 attendees reacting to those opinions and discussing the InfoComm 100’s perspective on the impact of these issues on the AV communications industry.

Second InfoComm Standard Approved by Board of Directors
InfoComm is pleased to announce that the second InfoComm standard, Standard Guide for Audiovisual Systems Design and Coordination Processes, has been approved by the Board of Directors. InfoComm International is grateful to the many people who took the time to review and comment on this document, thus strengthening and improving it. All comments have been taken into consideration in accordance with the ANSI Essential Requirements. This document will be submitted to ANSI for consideration as an American National Standard. InfoComm will publicize its availability when it is authorized.
