A Message From Regional Director Godwin Demicoli
Dear InfoComm Members,
I would like to use this opportunity to thank you for coming to ISE this year. It was our largest attendance to date in Amsterdam and my fellow colleagues at InfoComm and I were pleased to see many familiar faces at our stand. I hope we answered many of your questions and interested you in some of our upcoming roundtables and classes.
We are now looking forward to another of our great shows, InfoComm 2011. This will be taking place in Orlando, Florida, in June of this year. Registration is now open so it’s not too early to start planning your trip.
The Lang Academy in Lindlar, Germany, an education organisation established for audiovisual events professionals who work in live events, recently had 37 courses approved for renewal units (RUs) for InfoComm International’s Certified Technology Specialist® (CTS®) program. This is exciting news for European AV professionals. Not only does Lang Academy offer an impressive quantity of RU courses, now there are a richer variety of choices — making it easier to stay certified. If taking renewal courses in Germany is not convenient, we have more than 1,000 RU-approved courses to chose from. Check out your renewal options.
We are also offering this year a Regional Webinar Series. Eight of these webinars will be in German, so please watch for more information on website: www.infocomm.org.
We will be at PLASA Focus in Leeds UK, 19 and 20 April. Please do come past our booth RA-E10 in the Royal Armouries Hall and say hi. We will also be holding a seminar on 20 April at 12h00, Realizing the Value of Project Management presented by Andrew Littlewood of Martin Dawes Solutions on behalf of InfoComm. To register for the show and book you place on the seminar please click here.
Just a reminder that one of your InfoComm International® member benefits is free access to InfoComm tradeshows and co-hosted exhibitions.
Something which you probably are aware of but thought I would mention: One can fine tune the selection of emails you receive from us. This can be done either by clicking on the "Manage Your Subscriptions" link at the bottom of an email received from InfoComm or clicking here if you have your username and password on hand.
Wishing you all best,
Godwin
