Dear Members,
Thank you to those who attended the roundtables last month in Singapore and Australia. The Singapore event started with a welcome address by Terry
Friesenborg, Sr. Vice President of International Development for InfoComm International®, followed by an association update by Andy Tan, CTS®.
The keynote address, AV Technology: Campus Solutions for Tertiary Education, was presented by Ian Stott, Director of Inova Audio Visual Design.
The event was sponsored generously by Cisco and was attended by 45 members.
InfoComm International's new Executive Director and CEO, David Labuskes CTS, RCDD, met professionals from the AV industry in Singapore,
Bangalore and Dubai during a week-long trip beginning on 12 March.
Dedicated to meeting InfoComm’s members and partners around the world early in his tenure,
Labuskes attended CEO Receptions in Bangalore, Dubai and Singapore, listening to the thoughts and concerns of AV systems integrators, consultants,
distributors and manufacturers.
Don't miss our upcoming roundtable in Hyderabad, India, this month. The
featured presentation will be AVSI Evolution. AV will always be very important in business because content needs to be seen and heard in
order to be effective. Without proper AV, your audience cannot understand the information you are delivering. The need for AVSI to evolve
its operations and offerings is now inevitable. This is a roundtable you will not want to miss.
We also have numerous free webinars in April and May.
Our first Mandarin Chinese webinar in a series will be presented on 17 May. The first topic is AV Industry's First Fundamental Revolution
in 100 Years. For 100 years, the AV industry has been evolving in the
analog domain. The recent digital revolution brings fundamental changes to the industry. Learn about it in Mandarin in May.
We hope to see you at InfoComm China in Beijing, 10-12 April. The show provides a great way to network with the
local market, and you can take advantage of InfoComm International's education programme. Stop by the InfoComm
Booth V10-03 and receive our welcome gift to you.
Sincerely,
|
