Dear Members, Did you know InfoComm International®’s webinar series is a very good, cost-efficient way to get current industry information without leaving your computer screen? Among others, we recently had a webinar on AV Business — Going Green Connected, presented by Mayank Gupta of AMX India, on 19 July and one on 16 August on How Networked Video Will Change Your Business and the AV Market, presented by Paul Depperschimdt, CTS®, of Cisco Systems. Also offered were Oceania Regional Webinar: Running a Better Business, presented by Frank Coker, MBA, CMC, CEO, Corelytics, on 19 September and Asia Regional Webinar: Troubleshooting Techniques on 20 September with Rod Brown, CTS-D, CTS-I, Staff Instructor, InfoComm International. If you missed any of these useful webinars, simply view the recorded sessions. The Regional Roundtable in Mumbai was attended by 59 members on 6 August. The engaging keynote address, How Are the InfoComm AV Industry Performance Standards Affecting Your Business? What Is There for You in These Standards? delivered by Ratnesh Javeri, CTS-D, Innovative Systems was of great interest to the attendees. In Melbourne on 6 September, the roundtable’s keynote presentation highlighted InfoComm’s 2012 Market Definition & Strategy Study (MDSS). On 10 September, Dinesh Tripathi, Ph.D., CEO of WOW Vision, presented From Teaching, to Learning, to Collaboration to 48 people at the Singapore roundtable.
