Honorable Mention: Markey's Rental & Staging - National Aviation Hall of Fame Enshrinement Ceremony

Best Overall Staging of a Corporate Industrial Entertainment Event award goes to Imagination, Ltd. for the 2006 New Model Introduction Meeting for Ford Lincoln Mercury.

Ford, Lincoln and Mercury wanted to produce an experiential program of events to facilitate direct communication between Ford executives and the company's network of independent franchise dealers during a series of three-day long events.

Imagination responded by transforming the Mandalay Bay Arena in Las Vegas into a branded events space for the entire meeting,  including the business and product meetings, product launches and evening events.

The centerpiece of the transformation was a massive stage area with a projection screen that spanned 120' at its widest point. An array of 23 DS projectors constantly displayed content and messaging that successfully positioned Ford as an innovative and decidedly American company.

Cited for Honorable Mention in this category is Markey's Rental & Staging for the National Aviation Hall of Fame Enshrinement Ceremony.

Markey's created a sense of being inside an aircraft from any vantage point in the room through a three-dimensional scenery set in the form of an aircraft cockpit that utilized wide screen video and audio effects to simulate takeoff and in-flight maneuvers.
