Evertz Microsystems is pleased to Announce New Products at InfoComm 2007

On the heels another banner year Evertz continues to gain notoriety as one of the industry’s leading end-to-end multi-signal distribution, routing and display, including HDTV and IPTV, premium solutions providers.

MVP - Still the Most Valuable Processor

MVP is Evertz’ flagship multi-image display processor and a broadcast industry-standard processor, with over 1000 installs and inroads in all display wall markets including MCRs, PCRs, trucks, IPTV and AV.

MVPs unique system is totally solid-state. It contains no unreliable hard drives, and was designed with redundancy in mind, eliminating single points of failure. With a real-time operating system at its core and built-in signal monitoring capabilities, including remote monitoring with SNMP alerts and thumbnails, MVP users can rest assured that it won’t go down in a 24/7 mission critical environment.

Its modular architecture and open frame platform make MVP the most expandable multi-viewer on the market - If you use up all the slots in the frame, simply add a second frame and keep growing! A single MVP system can expand from 8 inputs with a single output, to as large as 2048 inputs to 64 output displays.

Evertz has continued to develop the MVP platform, ensuring it provides leading-edge solutions for today and for the future. For instance, in addition to monitoring base band, video and audio, and data services, MVP now offers the ability to decode ASI and MPEG inputs directly from the broadcast chain. Additionally, Evertz is pleased to introduce a new high resolution "PPMX16-4G" output card. The PPMX16-4G fits the existing MVP frame, offers the same simple interconnectability and networkability and is capable of accepting up to 128 HD, SD or NTSC/PAL inputs and outputting up to 4x WUXGA resolution displays.
