Crestron Introduces Multimedia Presentation Systems
Crestron's New MPS Series Delivers Stand-Alone, Turnkey Presentation Systems
ANAHEIM, Calif. -- The MPS Series, the culmination of three years of technology innovation and product development, will be on display at InfoComm booth #5700. The four MPS models are complete multimedia presentation systems in a stand-alone box. Crestron integrated a 2-Series Ethernet control system, multimedia switcher, audio amplifier, balanced audio with professional DSP, mic inputs, discrete touchpanel preview out and full QuickMedia signal routing and processing. Complete out-of-the-box functionality with front panel control, plug-and-play connectivity with Crestron interfaces, and links to RoomView® remote management software, MPS systems deliver the most robust, cost-effective presentation solution.
MPS systems are stand-alone solutions with out-of-the-box functionality. Simply connect source components and display devices for a complete, fully functional presentation solution. MPS does not need a separate control system; there is no need to load a program; and no laptops or touchpanel are required; just walk up and control the system right from the front panel.
For added functionality MPS systems offers seamless plug-and-play connectivity with Crestron 3-channel amps, touchpanels, keypads, handheld remotes, iLux lighting control and our new APAD room controller.
Media Processing Systems include the MPS-100, 200, 300 and 400. From the smallest 5x2 to the 11x7, all MPS models feature QuickMedia routing and processing, seamless system expansion, network connectivity and RoomView remote management capabilities. Perfect for classrooms, boardrooms, VTC rooms, auditoriums or any room with multiple sources. The MPS is ideal for a wide range of rooms, from a small training room to a sophisticated room with several sources, devices, input locations and display devices.
Even the smallest model, the MPS-100, features a discrete touchpanel preview output, a Crestron Ethernet control system and QuickMedia capabilities built-in. QuickMedia (QM) is Crestron's exclusive technology that transmits all audio, video, computer, power and data on a single cable, significantly reducing cable costs and installation time. The QM output can handle component and high-definition video, and high-resolution computer signals. Now, these high-quality signals can be transmitted in their native resolution without any scaling.
All audio inputs and outputs are balanced stereo, with discrete program, record and speech outputs available. Full 12-band parametric equalization and delay and adjustable input compensation are built into most models, eliminating the need for several external components to accomplish the same tasks.
Setting up the system and connecting to the network is quick and easy using the simple MediaManager Wizard. The software allows you to quickly label sources and displays, select projectors and screens for control and link to RoomView software. MPS system switchers provides plug-and-play support for Crestron 3-channel amplifiers, keypads, touchpanels, handheld remotes and iLux™lighting and shade control.
The front panel controls are designed for direct system control for volume and input/output selection. The LCD display and continuous turn control knob make system set up and diagnostics easy and intuitive. While the MPS Series offers out-of-the-box-functionality and intuitive, fully-functional front panel control, all MPS system switchers have the power and flexibility of the vast Crestron database of drivers and modules backing them for fully customized, facility-wide control and automation.

Crestron Introduces New Wideband Matrix Switcher Line
Crestron CEN-RGBHV Component Routing Switchers Provide Ultimate Integration
ANAHEIM, Calif. -- Crestron introduces its new line of wideband matrix switchers at InfoComm booth #5700. Crestron CEN-RGBHV switchers are designed to provide flexible signal routing of high-res video and audio for the most demanding presentation environments. With extremely low crosstalk, 450MHz video bandwidth, professional balanced audio, and full Crestron control system integration, the CEN-RGBHV line of switchers satisfies the demanding video requirements of corporate boardrooms and training centers, university lecture halls, houses of worship, command and control facilities, and live stage events.
CEN-RGBHV routers are full matrix switchers available in five configurations: 8x4, 8x8, 12x4, 12x8 and 16x16. Five matrix levels accommodate any combination of RGBHV, HD/component, S-Video and composite signals. Proven flat response achieves optimum performance even at the highest bandwidth. Selectable sync impedance on every input helps accommodate varying cable lengths. Complete multimatrix setup can be configured easily using Crestron ToolBox software, or controlled real-time via SIMPL programming.
Video-follow-sync switching ensures a glitch-free transition when selecting between non-synchronous sources. Blanking time is independently adjustable per output from 0 to 10 seconds, allowing each display device time to lock to the new sync signal before displaying the video image whenever a new source is selected. A sync reference input is also provided to support vertical interval switching of genlocked sources.
Stereo audio matrix switching is also included, supporting both balanced and unbalanced signals. Audio mute control is also included on the outputs for use in real-time operation as well for automatic blanking during switching for a pop-free transition between sources.
CEN-RGBHV component video and stereo audio switchers are completely functional out-of-the-box for standalone operation. Featuring a full feedback LCD display and quick-adjust knob, the front panel supports essential configuration and operation without requiring a computer or control system. Up to 40 presets containing numerous routes and audio settings can be saved onboard the CEN-RGBHV16X16 for instant recall. More customized setup is available through Crestron Toolbox software. All signal routing and audio compensation settings are stored onboard the switcher in non-volatile memory
Crestron switchers offer the ultimate in control system integration via Cresnet or high-speed Ethernet. Custom programming for control and integration is easy with SIMPL or Crestron award-winning SystemBuilder™software. Every function is accessible through the software without deciphering cryptic protocols. All switcher functions can be remotely monitored and controlled through any 2-Series Control System, or directly from Crestron's RoomView® Asset Management Software.
