BTX Technologies' MaxBlox EZ Termination System Displayed at InfoComm 07

At Booth 6430 (Hall B), BTX Technologies is showing its new patent-pending MaxBlox EZ Termination System, its next generation of solderless components. Building on the technology of BTX's previous solutions, this innovative, rugged new design allows installers to terminate an HD15 or a DB9 with just a screwdriver, and mount it in a panel, plate, or MaxBlox hood in a fraction of the time it would take to solder, saving both time and money.
When used in conjunction with the MaxBlox CD-MX159H hood, these connectors simply slide, snap, and lock into the hood without the use of tools. Optimized for use in any A/V application where VGA or RS-232 controls are used, the HD15 and DB9 connectors are manufactured by BTX with genuine Phoenix Contact terminal blocks, the industry standard for reliability. The system accommodates wire diameters from .120 inch to .500 inch.
The MaxBlox EZ Termination System will be available in summer 2007. BTX is also displaying NUVU, the screen with a twist. NUVU is an ultra-portable projection screen that features a unique pop-up design. Once removed from its pouch-like carrying case, the screen pops open and sets up in seconds-and folds back up just as fast--allowing users to have the screen mounted from the ceiling or floor in just minutes. The high-performance screen blends a stylish oval construction with unparalleled convenience for a variety of applications, including indoor or outdoor plug-and-play, business meetings, event presentations, classrooms, and home theaters. The patented screen fabric is crease-resistant and provides stunning picture quality at all angles.
BTX is the sole U.S. importer and distributor of this innovative new line of screens. Through BTX, NUVU is available in three types: 16:9, 4:3, and self-standing tabletop models with diagonal viewing angles ranging from 40 inches to 88 inches.
