Da-Lite Introduces the Heavy Duty Fast-Fold® Deluxe Screen with Foldable Black Backed Da-Mat Material

Da-Lite Screen Company, Inc. announces the introduction of the Heavy Duty Fast-Fold® Deluxe portable screen. The Heavy Duty Fast-Fold® Deluxe screen features a sturdy 3½"x1¼" aluminum frame with snap latch hinges for simple, quick set up and tear down. The Heavy Duty Fast-Fold® Deluxe is available in sizes from 7'x9' to 16'x27'6" and is customizable upon request. The Heavy Duty Fast-Fold Deluxe is standard with a silver anodized frame but is also available with a black frame finish. All screens up to 16' high are seamless. Screen surfaces include Da-Mat, Da-Tex,
High Contrast Da-Tex, Pearlescent, Cinema Vision and Dual Vision.

In addition to its durable construction, Da-Lite's Heavy Duty Fast-Fold® Deluxe screen with Da-Mat fabric is now a foldable black backed material. This exclusive feature allows for the portability of a Fast-Fold® screen with the superior image quality and opacity of a black backed material.


Da-Lite adds Built-In LVC Capability to Cosmopolitan Electrol

The Large Cosmopolitan® Electrol® and Large Tensioned Cosmopolitan® Electrol® are now available with a built-in Low Voltage Control (LVC). The Large Cosmopolitan Electrol is available in standard sizes up to 240" diagonal Video, 216" diagonal HDTV and 16' x 16' square formats. The Large Tensioned Cosmopolitan Electrol is available in standard sizes up to 240" diagonal Video, 220" diagonal HDTV and 12'x16' square formats. The Cosmopolitan® is fully customizable to aspect ratios and sizes upon request. The Cosmopolitan® with built-in LVC can be controlled with the included three button Decora® style wall switch or optional Radio Frequency (RF) or Infrared (IR) wireless controls.


Da-Lite adds Fast-Fold Truss and Heavy Duty Fast-Fold Deluxe in HDTV Sizes

Several new HDTV sizes available in the Fast-Fold® Truss and Heavy Duty Fast-Fold Deluxe screen product lines. The new sizes available include 7'6" x 13'4", 10'6" x 18'8", 12' x 21'4" and 15' x 26'6" viewing areas. Matching Drapery Presentation Kits are available for all sizes. Both models of Fast-Fold screens are available with Da-Mat, Da-Tex, High Contrast Da-Tex, Cinema Vision, Pearlescent and Dual Vision screen surfaces. All screens up to 16' high are seamless.


Da-Lite Introduces New Video Projector Interface

Available for 12-V or 5-V projector outputs, the redesigned Video Projector Interface triggers with 5 milliamps. The new lower milliamp requirement will allow for interfacing with a greater variety of projectors. DC controls allow the screen to be raised or lowered automatically when the projector is switched on or off. The Video Projector Interface is housed in a junction box and includes a rocker style wall switch with Decora coverplate.


Da-Lite Earns OSHPD Certified Mounting Accessories for Monitor Mounts

OSHPD approved accessories for Da-Lite's Advance monitor mounts. The new mounting accessories can be used to safely install Da-Lite's Wall Mount Shelf (WMS), Quick-Link® Wall (QLW), and Quick-Link® Ceiling (QLC) monitor mounts. The anchorage hardware kits were dynamically tested by the Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD) to meet the acceptance criteria of the International Code Council (ICC) and California Building Code (CBC). Each of these mounts and anchorage brackets were approved by OSHPD for all seismic zones and for all building levels above the ground floor.

Da-Lite adds Perfect Mirror Adjustment System as Standard Feature

The Perfect Mirror Adjustment System is a standard feature on Rear Projection Modules (RPM), Thru-The-Wall (TTW) and Stand Alone mirror systems for 42" x 60" and smaller mirrors. The Perfect Mirror Adjustment System features eight points of precise adjustment in the mirror to correct pin cushioning and barrel distortion common with a short throw, wide angle lens.

Da-Lite Adds Video Conference Shelf

Da-Lite Screen Company announced the addition of the Video Conference Shelf (PW-VC) to its line of plasma mount accessories. The Video Conference Shelf can be added to the Fixed or Mobile Plasma Stands and the Advance Universal Large Flat Panel Wall Mounts. Designed to accommodate video conference cameras, the Video Conference Shelf is height adjustable and has mounting holes to secure a video conferencing camera up to 10 lbs. The shelf mounts under a locking bar on the Plasma Mount for security. The Video Conference shelf also has a 180-degree tilt feature. The Video Conference Shelf is standard with a durable black or gray powder coat.


Da-Lite adds HDTV Sizes to Professional and Senior Electrol Screen Lines

The Professional Electrol® and Senior Electrol® are now available in HDTV sizes. The Professional is now available in 159", 188", 216", 243" and 271" diagonals. The Senior is now available in 188", 216", 243" and 271" diagonals. Both screens are ideal for large venue applications and can be customized upon request. The Professional and Senior Electrol® screens can be controlled with Da-Lite's Video Projector Interface, Single Motor Low Voltage Controller or Da-Lite's line of Integrated Screen Control products for more sophisticated control and networking. A three position Decora® style wall switch is included.


Da-Lite adds Large Venue Fixed Screen Available to 90' Wide

Da-Lite Screen Company is pleased to announce the introduction of the Series 300 Lace and Grommet Frame System to the large venue projection screen line. Constructed of three inch diameter aluminum tubing, the Series 300 Lace and Grommet Frame includes lacing cord and positioned "S" hooks for attaching a Da-Lite Lace and Grommet projection screen surface. The Series 300 Lace and Grommet Frame has a black powder coated finish, or may be specified with the optional seven inch wide Pro-Trim masking cover that conceals the screen binding and lacing cord. The Series 300 is also available as a curved model with any degree of single axis curve. The Series 300 Lace and Grommet Frame is recommended for use with any of Da-Lite's vinyl front projection surfaces in sizes up to ninety feet wide and rear projection surfaces up to 40' wide making it an excellent choice for auditoriums, theaters and other large venues.


Da-Lite adds Silent Motor Option for Electric Screens

Da-Lite announced the addition of the Silent Motor and Silent Motor with LVC options for several electric screen lines. This motor option is virtually silent and offers over a 30 percent reduction in sound versus standard motors. The Silent Motor is available in the Cosmopolitan, Contour, Advantage, Boardroom, Horizon, Dual Masking and Designer screens up to 9'x12' and Tensioned Cosmopolitan screens up to 10'x10'. The Silent Motor with built-in Low Voltage Control option is also available in the Cosmopolitan, Contour and Advantage screens up to 9'x12' as well as Tensioned Cosmopolitan screens up to 10'x10'.


Da-Lite adds Tab Tensioned Professional Electrol Screens

The Tensioned Professional is now available in standard sizes from 180" to 240" diagonal
Video, 188" and 220" diagonal HDTV and from  9'x12' to 12'x16' square formats. The Tensioned Professional Electrol is fully customizable to aspect ratios and sizes upon request and includes a three position Decora® style wall switch. The Tensioned Professional Electrol can be controlled with Da-Lite's Video Projector Interface, Single Motor Low Voltage Controller, or Da-Lite's line of Integrated Screen Control products for more sophisticated control and networking.


Da-Lite Adds Universal Projector Mount

Da-Lite Screen Company is pleased to announce the addition of the UPM-1 Universal Projector Mount to its Advance line of mount products. The Universal Projector Mount allows for roll adjustment of +/- 20°, pitch adjustment of +/- 15° and 360° swivel. The UPM-1 mount will hold projectors up to 50 lbs. and features adjustable feet for micro adjustments. The Universal Projector Mount is compatible with Da-Lite's full line of ceiling mount accessories. The UPM-1 has a black powder coated finish and includes mounting hardware.


Da-Lite adds Veneer Option for Cinema Contour and Imager Fixed Frame Screens

The visible face of either frame can be covered with a real wood veneer for a warm, elegant look. Veneers are available in seven standard finishes; Light Oak, Medium Oak, Natural Walnut, Heritage Walnut, Mahogany, Cherry or Honey Maple. Your custom finish can also be matched.


Da-Lite adds Pipe Attachment for VESA Mounts

Da-Lite has added a new Pipe Attachment to their line of VESA (Video Electronics Standards Association) flat panel monitor mount product offerings. The new VSM-PA allows the mounting of the VSM-ST (static) and VSM-TL (tilt) VESA mounts to vertical or horizontal 1½" pipe (not included). Available as static or tilt, these models will accommodate most flat panels with the VESA® standard mounting holes. Each model is load rated to 40 lbs. and, depending on the monitor's weight, will accommodate monitors up to a 40" diagonal. The tilt model provides 5 degrees of negative tilt (top back) and 20 degrees of positive tilt (top forward). Mounts and accessories have a black or gray powder coated finish.


Da-Lite adds Wide Angle Coatings to Rear Projection Screens

Da-Lite Screen Company has expanded its Polacoat line of optical coatings with the addition of DA-100 WA and DA-075 WA. Specifically designed for applications using high-lumen projectors in conjunction with short throw lenses, these coatings provide wider half-gain angles than traditional coatings, reducing the incidence of hot spotting. DA-100 WA is a light gray 1.0 gain wide angle coating andDA-075 WA is a 0.75 gain light gray coating. Both coatings are available on the entire range of Da-Plex screens and with a full range of framing options.
