InfoComm International Audiovisual (AV) Scholarships & Mentoring

ICIF Scholarship Program
InfoComm International established the International Communications Industries Foundation (ICIF) to address the industry's need for a high-quality workforce and endowed the ICIF with $1.2 million to fund scholarships for students and AV industry workers.

There are two types of scholarships. Both require that students be majoring in audiovisual subjects or related fields, including audio, video, telecommunications, electronics, technical aspects of the theater, data networking, software development and information technology. Students with other majors may be considered if they can demonstrate a relationship to career goals in the industry.

Scholarship for Dependents of Member Organizations
Post-secondary education scholarships awarded to high school seniors and college students who are employees of InfoComm member companies or dependents of employees. (See application for a definition of "dependent.") To be eligible for this $1,500 scholarship, students must be dependents of employees or employees of InfoComm International member companies in good standing.
AV Scholarship
Post-secondary education scholarships of $1,200 each awarded to high school seniors and college students who are pursuing a career in the AV industry.

Applicants are strongly encouraged to learn more about the audiovisual industry to see if the field is a good fit for them.
