In 2008, InfoComm China will be held in Hong Kong alongside the newly launched InfoComm Asia 2008, a sister Pan Asian event designed to capture the diverse Asian market. The twin events will be held from 19-21 November 2008 at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre.
Be part of China's booming AV and Electronic Communications market
The event is designed to meet the growing communication needs of the AV trade and industry in China. Home to 1.3 billion people, China is the fastest growing economy in Asia with projected growth of 9.5 percent in 2006 and 8.8 percent in 2007 (source: Asian Development Bank). The country is committed to huge investments in infrastructural developments including road, rail and airport, and education and training of its population, to fuel growth; and the capital city, Beijing, is currently making earnest preparations to host the 2008 Olympic Games and the 2010 World Expo. Investments in state-of-the-art AV and electronic communications systems are to be expected.
Commercial and residential markets
IS China brings together today's leading edge technologies for both the commercial and residential sectors to China. It is attended by AV and IT manufacturers, dealers and distributors, as well as by professionals such as architects, designers, systems integrators, educators, government officials, rental and staging contractors, entertainment venue owners, among others - all sourcing for the latest in AV, installed audio, videoconferencing, home theater, control systems and digital display solutions.
