Controlling iTunes Now Possible with iTControl

SOURCE: inlinecontrol.com · RELEASED: 7/7/2008

The iTControl software from InlineControl allows an AMX or Crestron Control System Programer to integrate iTunes and Frontrow running on a Mac computer, into the control system TouchScreen. iTcontrol will allow the user to have 2-way control over iTunes, including: playlists listing, track listing, player control and shuffle control. In addition iTControl will allow the user to emulate the use of the Mac IR remote in order to control Frontrow. The communication between the control system and the Mac is done over IP using a dedicated port.

The use of iTunes as a media server allows the user to have full advantage of the iTunes Store and play protected content.
