InfoComm Honors Industry Leaders and Pioneers

At InfoComm 09, InfoComm International was honored to present the 2009 recipients of the Distinguished Achievement Award, the 2009 Educator of the Year Award and the inaugural Pioneers of AV Award.

InfoComm International, along with our trade publication partners, ARCHI-TECH, Systems Contractor News (SCN), Rental & Staging Systems and Lighting&Sound America, announced the 2009 AV Award winners during InfoComm 09.

Lighting&Sound America’s Staged Events Awards recognize leaders in five categories for events held in 2008.

New Bay Media’s SCN Installation Product Awards honor outstanding install-specific products that were introduced in 2008. Awards for install-specific products were given in 15 categories.

The Rental & Staging Systems Product Awards honor outstanding products that are specifically designed for the rental and staging market. Products were entered by equipment manufacturers exhibiting at InfoComm and the winners were decided on the basis of a readers' poll conducted by the magazine.
