Lyle Bunn


Lyle Bunn provides strategic and business counsel to investors, operators, suppliers and users of digital dignage and dynamic out-of-home media. He helped to position Alchemy, a division of St Joseph Communications, as a premier provider of “content” strategy and production services. Before that he served as Director, Digital Signage and Rich Media at BTV+, a distance-learning, satellite services provider and systems integrator. Bunn has contributed to the planning of some of the largest signage networks in North America, and is a recognized leader of North America’s dynamic display and digital signage industry.

Bunn was the only individual named to the Digital Signage Forum’s 2005 Digital Signage Top Ten List, listed among such corporate giants as Thompson, 3M, Clear Channel, Focus Media and others. He chairs or presents at every major event related to dynamic display and has several hundred published articles and media references to his credit. He is served as a judge for both the DIGI Awards and the Fourth Screen Out-of-Home Awards in 2008. He co-authored The new Madison Avenue Diet — The Strategy for Performance-Focused Dynamic Signage Content, an omnibus whitepaper that provides the framework for digital signage content production and his next major whitepaper titled The 3 E’s — Electronic, Exposures and Engagement is now available.  His eBook, Digital Signage Overview and Planning Guide , first published in February 2007, is in its third edition and has users around the world.

Bunn has provided significant advancements in the areas of digital signage business models, multi-use networks, RFID-triggered display and technology infrastructure balancing. He served as Founding Chair, Education Committee of the North America Digital Signage Group of POPAI, the global at-retail marketing organization, and as a judge for the 2006 Digital Signage Man and Woman of the Year.
