Robert S. Simpson is a holder of the InfoComm Distinguished Achievement Award, and a member of the InfoComm University Faculty. He is a member of IESNA, SMPTE, SID, SPIE and a Fellow of the BKSTS. He is a regular writer and speaker on audiovisual and lighting control topics, and his books include Videowalls — The Book of the Big Electronic Image (Focal Press 1997) and Lighting Control — Technology and Applications (Focal Press 2003). Simpson is Founder Director of the Electrosonic Group.
