Exam Prep Tips of the Month
Getting Ready to Take a CTS Exam? Take it for a Test Drive!
You can go to a Prometric Testing Center before your exam to see what it is going to be like and take a practice sample test! Prometric’s Test Drive provides candidates with a real world, end-to-end practice run. For US$30, you will experience a 30-minute run-through of the testing experience you will encounter on your actual testing day. During the run-through, you will participate in:
- The scheduling and registration process
- The complete check-in process
- Introduction to test center staff and surroundings
- A live 15-minute sample test demonstrating the testing process. The sample test does not contain any CTS exam questions, but gives you an idea of how the test is conducted.
Take the worry out of your exam experience: Go to www.prometric.com/testdrive to schedule a test drive at your nearest testing location. Test drives cost US$30 and are available during select hours.
Exam Prep: Get to Know Your Calculator
Before your exam, take some time to get to know your calculator. All testing centers will provide you with a computer-based scientific calculator very similar to the Windows® scientific calculator included with the operating system. We recommend you familiarize yourself with the calculator and practice using various formulas. This not only reduces stress on exam day, but also provides an additional review of AV formulas.
