Independent Consultants in Audiovisual Technology (ICAT) Council

Mission
ICAT exists to provide an environment and a platform for independent technology consultants, particularly AV consultants, to:

  • Pursue and supoprt technical quality and standards of design that guide the development of systems that meet the needs of their clients
  • Promote independent consulting as an appropriate and distinct delivery method for implementing AV and related technologies
  • Develop AV industry initiatves that benefit not just the community of independent consultants, but the AV industry at large
  • Support and contribute to ongoing InfoComm initiatives and educational offerings through volunteerism
  • Provide an environment for networking and discussion among like-minded, ethical firms and individuals who provide independent AV design and related services

Members wishing to join ICAT must fill out an application to be reviewed by the ICAT Membership Subcommittee. Applicants are notified within two weeks.
